I have been married to my husband Michael for 20 years, and we moved to Easton five years ago with our four children, ages 10-19, to shorten my husband’s commute. We settled on Easton for the schools – and for Holy Cross Parish! We attended a Mass before we purchased our home and were impressed with the youth ministry, music and charism of the Congregation of Holy Cross so evident at the Mass.
My husband and I both volunteer teaching Faith Formation or helping with Confirmation, our older kids have gone on the ASP service trip, and Fr. Jim Fenstermaker was receptive when we asked and helped to organize the first group from Holy Cross to attend the Steubenville Catholic Youth Conference.
I have run Vacation Bible School the past three years, and this is my first year on the parish council I recently returned to work writing for the Holy Cross Family Ministries in Easton, writing e-books and content for familyrosary.org and Catholicmom.com. This ministry is the fruit of Holy Cross Father Patrick Peyton – who was recently declared Venerable by Pope Francis!
