I am Linda Sullivan and have been a member of Holy Cross parish the since the mid-1970’s. Over the years, I have served our parish in various ways. I taught third-grade CCD for four years and first-graders for six. I was a member of the Worship & Spirituality Commission for approximately three years and ultimately chaired the Commission for two years. I am currently serving as a lector and choir member and am a member of the Respect Life Committee, the Emergency Preparedness Committee, and Parish Council.
I attended Stonehill College and received my Bachelor of Science degree in 2000, majoring in finance. While attending Stonehill, as a member of the Beta Xi Honor Society, I served two years as Treasurer raising funds for the Reverend Eugene Green Scholarship Fund, a scholarship fund which continues to serve students today. I recently retired from MIT in June 2018 where I was an academic administrator to approximately 1,500 undergraduate and Master of Engineering students in the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Department.
As a new member of the Parish Council, it is my hope, working with other members, to respond more fully to the needs of our parish.
