Families and Faith is a family-based catechesis program that empowers parents to teach the faith to their children. Once a month, Families and Faith participants celebrate Mass together at 10:00 am and directly after Mass attend a workshop until 12:15 pm. Throughout the remainder of the month, families will spend an additional 1 to 1.5 hours on parent-led lessons at home. Participating in this program will fulfill your child's faith formation requirements for the year; unless they are in Grade 2, in which case additional at home or in-person teaching is required to cover sacramental preparation. This program is for families with children in grades 1 through 7.
Younger siblings are welcome to attend.
Homeschool Option Grades 3, 4, 5, 6, 7. Books will be purchased for your child and distributed with the syllabus in October. Links for the e-assessment will be posted to the parish website. Parent meeting October 11, 2023 at 7pm in the Parish Center of Holy Cross Church.
